I hope this email finds you well. I am a reporter for the Baltimore Sun, and I am doing a story on Chicory, Baltimore's magazine. I saw that you may have written a poem for the magazine. Would you be willing to chat? I am on deadline. The story is due today March 10, 2017, so I'd love to get in touch with you as soon as possible.
My email is [email protected]
I met and took a picture with you at the Zora Neal Hurston Festival in Eatinville, FL. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the three book I purchased. I have shared your books with my granddaughters (age 19) so that they will be aware of the struggles women of color have endured and how they overcame. Please write a sequel to A Life Not My Own. I'd like to know what happened after you left the military. How did you find peace, make better decisions, find love and happiness. I, too, published my memoir: Shattered Lens - A tale of Domestic Violence and REdemption through Love (2010). I broke the silence and now help others by conducting workshops and seminars. You are my SHERO!
Enjoying viewing your website and am sure this will not be my only visit. Best wishes for much success.
